Tasting - La Lejania Chardonnay

Name: La Lejania Chardonnay
Region/Country: Central Valley, Chile
Year: 2015
Price: $10-- Sale $6.95

Winery Review: A refined and suave style, with a rich array of white fruit and cream flavors, featuring a plush texture. Ripe citrus and pear notes fill the smooth finish.

My Review: There was a clear scent of pear that filled the glass from the first sniff. This wine was very smooth in texture on the tongue, despite its slight bitterness. I recognized a hint of orange and pear in the flavor as well. I would give this wine a 89. I tasted this on its own with no food, but I would definitely want to pair it with a meal.
